Christmas Weekend.

Christmas is officially over here at the Wilson household! Things were a little delayed for us with the snowstorm, but we were able to see everyone that we wanted to despite that.

We.  Are.  So.  Blessed.

We have so many people who love us.  Christmas Eve was spent inside our home with our little family.  We gave Livi her "big" present from us, since she would be spending the next two days getting other gifts! She really liked it.

Christmas morning was spent with the three of us (a new tradition was born!!) opening our stockings and gifts.  Livi didn't wake up until around 7:30, and Ben and I were already awake.  Livi probably thought we were nuts because we were so excited for her to wake up! We brought her out to the living room, where we gave Livi her stocking.  She was pretty confused, as you can probably tell by the look on her face!

She then opened her other two gifts from us.  We did not get her a lot, because well...she doesn't NEED a lot, and we knew that she would be getting quite a few gifts from others as well.

Later that day, Grandpa Eric and Grandma Sheri came to visit us! We have never before had anyone over to OUR house for the holiday, so that was a special treat.  I cooked up a big pot of chicken noodle soup and Sheri brought other delicious treats.  We had some beers, lots of laughs, and lots of goodies! It takes O awhile to get used to men, but she warmed up to her Grandpa Eric and let him spend some good time with her!

She really liked her gifts from Grandpa and Grandma! Vroom! Vroom!

The next morning, we got up and made the trip to New Hartford to see Grandma Laura and Uncle Jake. Livi thinks her Uncle Jake is pretty cool! There were more presents to open, and food to eat! Livi got to see her Great Grandma as well as a family friend we haven't seen in years!  At the end of the visit, my mom sent me home with some of my favorite potato soup...yumm!

After leaving my mom's, we went to Waterloo to Grandma Mary and Grandpa Mark.  This is going to surprise you...more presents and food!! :) Livi was a little bit (okay, a LOT) freaked out by Uncle Matt's dog, Ceila.  She would try and get close to Liv, but Liv wouldn't have it!

Later, at home Livi enjoyed playing with all of her loot!

So, as you can clearly see, we enjoyed our very first Christmas with Big O.  Parenting her has been the biggest blessing and the most rewarding experience of my life.  Our little family is so lucky to have the amazing family and friends that we have...I want Livi to be raised knowing how special and loved she is.  2010 has been the best year yet, I CANNOT wait to see what 2011 has in store!

Happy Holidays, everyone.
